Turner Classic Movies From The 50'S! This is the second article in a series at no cost TV and movie online viewing.
I recently had dinner with friends, and noticed the children watching wire programs. My friends proudly announced they simply had the "movie channels" the cable company essential for basic service, but that the kids watched their best network series. I asked simply how much the cable bill set it, and was astonished to locate they were willing to pay nearly $400 annually for television.
In 1985, I was stationed in England when a TV tax must be paid to have and watch a television set. That's not a joke- it's real. If the tax isn't paid, you're fined and also the television was confiscated. If you had been military, just like me, you needed even more problems. Those laws remain in force. I paid nearly $400 per year for four channels. Two independent channels and two BBC government regulated ones.

While many sites offer no movies yet, who knows what the future holds? Perhaps if enough people contacted web sites the network might eventually supply a movie or two.
Discovery Channel
No full- length movies, but I watched episodes of "The Colony," "The Deadliest Catch," and episodes from your "Animal Planet" series. There are many more available. I especially enjoyed clips from "Monster Animal Videos." There are truly amazing animals nowadays.
Many documentaries are available for free viewing also. For those who are last school, here is a place to do homework research with no cable bill or renting a DVD.
Syfy
To watch movies online, go through the Syfy movies link at the right side from the screen. Click the links of "Syfy Original Movies," and "Sci fi Classics" to find out the currently playing full-length feature. Syfy original movies are shown on HULU.com, look into the site to locate the movie currently playing. This site also plays several Syfy series.
There are installments of "Haven," "Warehouse 13," "Ghosthunters Academy," "Tin Man," and many more.
This site also offers online games, for example "Dark Orbit," "Ninja," "Mahjong," among others. "But wait - there's more," as television advertisers say. Syfy offers sweepstakes, phone apps, e-postcards to deliver an much, far more.

View the listings of programs just for this wonderful network, shop for series-related items, play games, and watch full-length episodes. Join online forums to talk about your favorite characters/programs.
Here can be a list of a few shows: "Dog The Bounty Hunter," "Paranormal State," 'Intervention," plus a host many more are available free of charge vowing.
Hallmark
This is the better family-friendly site I've found up to now. Back to school recipes, guidelines to help you, games to experience, listings of holidays and internet based shopping are just the beginning.
Your favorite oldies series like "I Love Lucy," "Touched by an Angel," "Who's the Boss," "Golden Girls," and much more are offered for online viewing. New series such as, "Dad's Home," "Elevator Girl," "Mending Fences" are also offered.
Sweepstakes are available for fans of Hallmark. Currently running is often a chance to view the "Martha Stewart" show live as it is taped. Details are on the site.

Hundreds of free movies are listed, some recent, some not. Every genre is apparently represented from Bollywood, documentaries and much more.
Television series are also available, "The Office", "Stargate SG-1", "The Office" and far more. The site possesses a total 88,688 videos for the free viewing pleasure.
Click on the links "Scifi Squad," "Movies," "AOL TV," "Horror Squad," or "TV Squad" to see the online magazines for all those genres.
Hallmark
This is the one other family-friendly site detailed with contests, sweepstakes plus much more. Free membership is required to participate in the contests, however.
Episodes of "Army Wives," "Project Runway," "On the Road With Austin & Santino," and many others are waiting your viewing.
This site shows LMN network and Lifetime original movies for limited time periods. The movies change every week, so check in often. The first time I visited this website only one movie was available. Now there are nine.
Original webisodes (those shows made exclusively for online viewing) include "Street Doctors," "Mommy Madness" and many more.
CW Network
Currently no movies can be purchased, but full episodes of series such as "Moonlight," "Hellcats," "Smallville" and many others are.
Join a forum to debate your favorite actor/show. Get the latest photos of your selected celebrity, watching free previews before anyone sees them on regular television.

It should be mentioned that advertisements on tv suggest that free television may become a thing of the past if American's don't act and support a PAC (political action committee).
No, I don't personally think that free television will become outdated in America. We as a people won't allow legislators for doing that. Think about that to get a minute. How would the American Government suddenly regulate, control, and tax millions of televisions? Imagine the response with the ACLU if television sets were suddenly confiscated. Ho, boy.
We were told overseas that the British Government sends "James Bond-like" trucks through neighborhoods to read the microwaves from homes, and compares the readings against printouts or computer records of who has and hasn't gotten a TV tax license. If the readings from a place showed a TV was at use, but no license, an inspector or PC (Police Constable) was sent to see your license. If you didn't produce it, you're fined and the TV was confiscated for the spot.
Can you imagine that here? I don't think so.
